"A Soldiers Life" Presentation

Niles Kynett, a local amatuer historian and avid Revolutionary War and Civil War buff, came to our class.  He talked to us about what life was like for a British soldier during the Revolutionary War.  Mr. Kynett was dressed in an authentic full dress British privates uniform, from the "33rd Afoot" Regiment.  Mr. Kynett is a regular participant in Revolutionary and Civil war re-enactments, and has participated in the making of several documentaries.  We learned a lot about being a soldier during that time, and how the British viewed the Revolutionary War.

Firing a musket was always risky, and not accurate at all!
