Wall of Courage, September 2008
.
I like courageous David!

Reading, Bible, English, and computers came together as the third graders, reading The Courage of Sarah Noble, learned about courage.  Many favorite Bible characters were very courageous.  Each student chose their favorite courageous character to paint.   In English class a poem was written about that character, then typed, printed out and displayed on The Wall of Courage outside the third grade classroom.
Enoch chose Enoch as his courageous character.  Following is his poem.

Enoch
Kind, loving, godly, and wonderful
Friend of God
Who loves God, everyone, and happiness
Who feels happy, sad, and excited
Who needs God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit
Who feared sin, Satan, naughty people
Who gives love, happiness, and good character
Who would like to see Adam, Eve, and everyone
Resident of Heaven
Courageous!

The sidewalk is our painting room! Painting Joshua--mighty man of God!

Here we are with our Wall of Courage! Painting can be fun! And messy!

Daniel is my favorite! Hailee loves the courage Esther displayed for God's cause!
