Utah Education Trip, May, 2008
.
All 43 of us junior high students, parents and teacher at Delicate Arch.

May 4-11, 2008 was the 7th & 8th grade outdoor experience to Utah.  Under the leadership of Mr. Davis, 27 junior high students and 15 parents participated in an active, meaningful, and fun week in the Southeast Utah desert biome.  Activities included hiking in Arches National Park, mountain biking, horseback riding, visiting the Anasazi sites at Mesa Verde National Park, and rafting down the Colorado River.  Leaving all technology behind for 8 days, the students got to experience the desert in its awesome beauty.  At the end of the week, the group of 43 had their own worship service--it was very meaningful, being conducted by the students and their parents.  Thank you, God!
