Picnic Day 2008
June 4, 2008, we had our annual rip-roaring, team picnic day. With the emphasis on the group and not on individual accomplishments, all five teams worked hard, cheered for each other, and scored points for their team. Events included musical chairs, gunny sack race, water balloon toss, running relay, peanut hunt, 4-square volleyball, and tug-of-war. There were many encouraging words spoken among the students. With emphasis on having fun together, awards were not a factor, with the winning team going to lunch first. What a great way to end the school year--students supporting students--just for fun!
