Football, Sept./Oct. 2008
The Falcons look forward to flag football season even before school begins. As the saying goes, "No matter what, Falcons are the most polite and kind athletes, no matter what". This slogan held true again this year, as it was noted how vibrant the kids still were, cheering for each other, making pyramids, even when the other team was winning. It is fun to be part of a team! It really is!
With many parents supporting both the girls' and boys' teams, Camp Orangevale was quite the site, especially at the tournament.
 
Modesto hosted this year's tournament, with the boys and girls playing three games each. We were quite the rooting section, cheering when things went our way, and cheering when they didn't.
 
It is our goal that the Falcons should leave the game, feeling good about meeting other athletes, playing their best, and just being on a team that supports each other.
 
Although winning is always fun, having a great attitude and doing our best is better. Thank you God!
