Christmas Program, December 2008
.
Is Jesus coming tonight?

December 5, 2008 our kindergartners through 8th graders, under the direction of Mrs. Cunningham, music teacher, presented a very meaningful Christmas program.  Theme for this annual event was HOPE.  Our hope is in Jesus!  Proud parents, relatives, staff members, and church family enjoyed this evening watching their son, daughter, nephew, niece sing their hearts out for God, play some great music, and present, in drama fasion, the true hope we have in Jesus.
Singing for Jesus, the hope of the nations. Fun to play in the dark!
Following the processional with Mary, Joseph, and the angels, the band played several beautiful musical selections.  Mrs. Cunningham loves to make music-makers out of the students.
Proud parent time! Sounds great kindergartners! Mrs. Cunningham directs the band.
The kindergartners then welcomed all to this evening program and sang a very cute song for Jesus.  Oh, it is heart-warming to see these great kids sharing their talents in front of others for God's cause.
1st & 2nd Choir singing for Jesus! Doing great! Sounds even better!
Alexis loves to sing! 3rd & 4th Choir sharing their voices. Wow, do they have lungs!
5th - 8th Choir provide a great sound! Most beautiful! Katie and Taylor sound very harmonious.
Each of the three choirs sang several selections, the bells played a wonderful version of "O Holy Night", the flute quartet sounded as beautiful as ever, and the hidden voices praised Jesus, the Prince of Peace.
The bell players work well together making the song sound its best! Courtney opens the drama with a narrative presentation.
After the bells played the offertory, a drama presentation was given by the junior high students.  Emphasis was placed on making sure we are kind to all people just as if they were Jesus, Himself.
Could you spare a piece of bread...or maybe a cookie? Howdy Ma'am, we just had a bit of bad luck.
The cast and Mr. Davis. Two members of the Girls Chorus singing Hope of the Nations.
The evening ended with the Girls Chorus singing "Hope of the Nations".  Pastor Clark closed with prayer and invited all to our reception in the gymnasium.  Thank you, Home & School, for an awesome reception.  Thank you, God, for a memorable evening.
Alyssa (mom) dreams of hearing Jesus calling her. Pastor Clark welcomes all to the reception in the gym. Thank you Home & Schoo,
